Welcome to 2006-7 Meadows Library Media Aides
This year, you will write at least one paragraph every night that you had a Library Media Aide class during the day. The purpose for this assignment is to strengthen your descriptive writing skills and provide a record for yourself, your parents and for me about what you do each day during this class. I prefer 3 paragraphs of well-written, correctly spelled descriptive record of what you did during your Library Media Aide class. This blog participation is one rubric for this class. The more that you write the higher your grade will be in the class.

Previousely I have not blogged so I am now. We pretty much checked in books. Then we put covers on the new books. There weren't any books to file so we didn't do tat.

Today in media aide i magnatized a lot of books. Then, I but strips in a few books. You let us blog!!! yeah!!

Today in media aide we just checked in books but we had to put in strips in books so that kindof stinked. But oh well. Now we can do what we want to do.
I totally forget blogs all the time! We covered books and had a lot of subs so had free time and in the last 2 weeks I have missed 5 days.

Today in media aides i checked in a few books. Then we shelved some books. Then you let us blog!!

Hey again!! I havent blogged since I dont know when. But latley Katie has been missing so I have been flying solo. THe Library is in the middle of being inventoried!! That mean that Katie will be busy scanning all of the books on the shelves. But anyways, today I placed labels on the spine and on the top lft hand corner of the book. And last time in Media Aide I was free to do what ever i wanted so it was a pretty easy day.

Yesterday I put in birthdays and lunches on a powerpoint. Also I checked in some books and magnetized them but I didn't check if they set off the alarm because Mrs. Roof had a feeling that I didn't want to but it didn't really matter to me.
So I checked in some magazines instead but I didn't get to finish because the bell rang.

Today in media aide I started by checking in a few books. Then I shelved about 7 books or so. Next I scanned some books for the end of the year inventory. Then I helped Elizabeth put stickers on the spin of books. That's it!!

Yesterday I put bar codes on the books and got the FUN task of organizing the books on the cart. That’s about it.

yesterday we put away books, checked in a bunch of books and remagnitized them it was fun. i guess. it was a little more difficult with andy but i think ms.roof put us together because out of the people in my media aide class i get along with him the best so i won't argue.
today we checked out books when there was a big pile of books in which people put their names on a post it note. that was pretty fun i do have to say.the next part on the other hand wasn't as fun. we got the task of sperating about 12 packs of new bookmarks. that's all we really did today and it was a mix of fun and annoying.
Today we checked in books magnetized them then made sure they worked. I also got to organize the books catalogs. Now that was so fun. Yippee!!! This was one of the more boring days but then we got to blog in class time so there were no worries about homework for media aide.
Today in Media Aide I got set up with a G-Mail and now i am able to leave these comments about what i learned. Also i put stickers on the margin of the book and all of that stuff. Today was a TCT day so it was a shorter period so we couldn't get as much stuff done as usuall. I had a great day in this class today and learned some new things.

Today it was my second day in, and i put barcodes on textbooks, a class was in the libary checking out books so i checked thier books out for them.
